A cast copper alloy pin head of probable later Iron Age date (150 BC - AD 80). The pin head is globular in form being irregular in plan and cross section. It seems to be cast in one piece and the head of the pin is sub-spherical with a series of ball shaped bosses extending from the edge. These bosses are arranged in five pairs and evenly spaced around the circumference of the head either side of a single incised horizontal band. Copper alloy Langton Down brooch, this has tubular wings that wrap around the spring encompassing it within a cylinder, the pin protruds from a vertical slit situated in the centre, rear of the wings. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman rosette brooch. It is missing the spring, most of the spring casing, and parts of the foot and catchplate due to old breaks. All surfaces are worn with signs of active copper-alloy corrosion. The spring casing is semi-cylindrical in form, missing both ends and upper surface due to old breaks. An incomplete and worn copper-alloy Iron Age/Nauheim-derivative brooch. It is missing the spring, pin and the pin groove due to old breaks, now worn. At the head of the bow are the remains of two protrusions/prongs that would have once formed the now missing spring and pin. The bow is D-shaped in section with a flat back and rounded front face.
