A double-struck copper-alloy Roman radiate coin of Carausius, dating from AD 286-293 (Reece Period 14). Reverse type possibly Pax. Mint unclear. The obverse has been double-struck slightly, skipping the image of the bust and the legend. The reverse seems to have been struck once with the reverse type and another time with a similar, yet different bust to the obverse, or it might be an overstrike. It is difficult to edit this entry from the image alone. This coin has been included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
