A possible copper alloy finger ring dating to the Roman period.
The object is sub-circular in plan with a gap between the two ends. The object is 11.31 mm wide and 2.97 mm thick. There is some decoration on the outer surface in the form of an incised V shape from which three incised lines run around the ring.
Similar objects are recorded on the PAS database including YORYM-6C6664 and LEIC-381095 with the suggestion that they may be made from Roman bracelets.

A possible copper alloy headstud brooch dating to the Roman period, c. AD 50 to 200.
The object has a sub-rectangular head which holds a hinge mechanism with part of the pin still in place. There are some vertical lines on the wings. The bow projects at 90 degrees from the head and there is a small circular cell which may have formed part of a headstud. The bow does not arch away very much and tapers to point where the foot and catchplate are missing.
The brooch could be a very simple headstud brooch with the headloop missing, see Bayley and Butcher (2004: 97) catalogue number…

An incomplete copper alloy and iron skirted terret ring of early Roman date.
The ring is faceted and does not have a circular section and is damaged with only a small section remaining. The base of the ring is attached to a "skirt" which is conical in shape. The base of the cone shape has four points which curve upwards and end in bulbous knops. The underside of the object has a rough surface and in the centre is some iron corrosion which is where the object would have been attached to the harness.

An incomplete possible palette, or cosmetic mixing stone of Roman date. The object is sub-rectangular in both plan and section with fairly smooth surfaces. The edges are bevelled and numerous cutting marks are present on both surfaces.
The stone is dark grey sandstone with a gritty interior texture. The object is 87.6mm long, 85.2mm wide, 15.2mm thick and weighs 195g.

A complete lead weight of uncertain date. The object is square in plan with a flat top and base and appears undecorated.
The metal is a light greyish-white colour and is worn. The object is 18.8mm long, 18.5mm wide, 3.7mm thick and weighs 11.3g.
Lead weights were commonly used from the Iron Age through to the post-medieval period and are difficult to date with any certainty without supporting archaeological context. The function of such objects is also difficult to determine.

A complete copper alloy halfpenny trade token of post-medieval date. The token was issued by Thomas Welch of Congleton, Cheshire in 1666.
Obverse: THOMAS WELCH 1666 around the Feltmakers coat of arms.
Reverse: IN CONGLETON around HIS//HALF//PENY.
The token is 18.9mm in diameter and weighs 1.1g.

A complete copper alloy strap slide of Early-Medieval date. The object is cast in one piece and is comprised of a rectangular frame with a rectangular section. The uppermost surface of the frame is expanded into a lozenge panel with a raised central rib. The panel is decorated with two ring and dot motifs, one to either side of the rib, at the widest point. The reverse of the object is undecorated. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. The strap slide is 17mm long, 10.7mm wide, 8.9mm thick and weighs 1.7g.

A complete copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The buckle is a single looped D-shape with a narrowed and offset strap bar and two lobes flanking a constriction for a transversely grooved sheet roller.
The metal has a mid greenish-brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 22.6mm long, 20.3mm wide, 6.3mm thick and weighs 5.2g.
A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead p.23, no.105 and is dated to circa AD 1250 - 1400.

An incomplete copper alloy headstud brooch of Roman date. All that remains is a rectangular sectioned bow, the upper surface of which is decorated with a series of eight parallel rectangular recessed cells. Each of the cells are filled with alternating blue and red enamel. The bow terminates in a semi-circular foot knop with a vertically grooved collar. The remains of a catchplate project from the reverse of the bow.
The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The brooch is 29.3mm long, 6.2mm wide, 12.7mm thick and weighs 4g.
