Possible 1-ounce Avoirdupois lead weight, a hollow, roughly circular tub, tapering towards a convex closed end from which five short round-sectioned (distorted) tentacle-like lobes project. There is a small perforation in the side. Height (without lobes) 20mm. Diameter 17 - 20mm (13 - 16mm internally). Length and diameter of lobes c.9mm and c.4.5mm. Weight 28.98g / 1.0220oz. A very strange object which might, to judge from the perforation, be a ferrule. Probably post-medieval, c.1550 - c.1800

Fragment of a copper alloy furniture escutcheon with one rivet hole, parts of two openwork apertures, scalloped edges chamfered on the underside, punched annulets and incomplete circles, and engraved lines. Cf. two other Norfolk examples (LVPL-9AD744 and NMS-B9B073, left-hand object in photograph). Extant dimensions 30 x 16mm. Thickness 0.8mm. Later 17th - early 18th century. c.1660 - c.1730.

A cast copper-alloy double-loop buckle frame of medieval to early post-Medieval date, c. 1350-1720. A central axis bar (bent in antiquity) divides the sub-circular frame into two D-shaped sides. The frame is of trapezoidal cross section, but the axis bar is of triangular cross section. The pin is missing. The buckle frame has a degraded olive green patina. Reference: Ross Whitehead. Buckles 1250-1800. pages 44-45. Diameter of buckle frame: 37.30 mm. Thickness: 2.28 mm. Weight: 6.226 grams.
