A hollow foot from a Roman vessel. A similar example was found in excavations at Colchester (Crummy 1983: 73, no. 2051 fig. 76), where it was suggested to be possibly a foot from a bowl. See also BH-1911F3 and NLM-A2CB67.The foot is pelta-shaped with a central incomplete groove.

An incomplete copper alloy foot / leg from a copper alloy cooking vessel of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 - AD 1700). The vessel fragment is sub triangular in shape and sub rectangular in cross section. It consists of a straight body, with an external and internal central rib. The lower end tapers to a blunt point. This vessel has a rounded base, not suited to being placed on a flat surface, shouldered biconnical profile surmounted by a vertical collar and outwardly rolled rim. Post-medieval copper alloy vessel leg and foot. It is D-shaped in cross section with a flat back and convex front. The leg has three moulded vertical ribs running down the length. It narrows and thins from the top to the lower end. A broad transverse collar separates the leg and foot. The flaring foot again has three vertical ribs running down the front. A Post Medieval to early Modern zoomorphic cast copper-alloy vessel leg, probably dating to the early to late 19th century AD.
