A cast lead alloy - possibly pewter - token of post medieval date. The token is well cast but incomplete having lost some of its edges through abrasion. The design on the front face consists of a vertical cross contained within an irregular shaped circlet encircled by a ring of pellets. The cross is formed from four wedges and in the angles are V shaped marks. The reverse face has a cast initial T with terminal serifs possibly another letter above and a small annulet to one side of the vertical element of the T. The overall style is similar to that of provincial mercantile tokens comb…

Post Medieval cast lead-tin alloy (pewter) circular double faced token of Powell type 2 / 21 (c. AD 1500-1800). The token is broken with c.40% missing and the edges laminated, suggesting a high tin content which also fits with the low weight of the piece.. On one face is a raised design, slightly unclear but probably the initials HP or HB retrograde. On the other is a raised design of a four spoked wheel, four straight lines radiate out from a central ring and dot hub to meet a circular rim all within an outer plain line border. There is no evidence of small projections on the outside…

Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead-alloy circular unifaced token of Powell type 3 (c. AD 1250-1800). The token has a raised design of seven straight lines radiating from the centre to the edge. The back is plain. various indents and flaws in casting such as airbubbles obscure details of the design but the general form appears clear. It measures 18.5 mm in diameter, 4.5mm thick and weighs 7.49 grams.
Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date.
