A probably Roman lead steelyard weight with a corroded iron loop at one end. The lead weight is damaged, although the iron loop is visible at both ends of the weight and a complete loop is visible at the tip. The weight is broadly circular in plan and from a narrow point at the top, broadens toward the base where it curves in sharply.

A copper alloy buckle dating to cAD 300 - 400. The strap end is attached to the buckle but the pin is missing. The buckle comprises a single semi-circular loop which flattens on the side attached to the strap end. The loop is circular in section. The strap end comprises a single sheet of metal folded over the loop and with a slot in the centre for the pin. The strap end has two rivet holes at the end furthest from the loop, although the rivets are missing. The strap end is decorated with a rectangle of pellets and two lines of pellets all the centre from the the loop to the end …

A copper alloy zoomorphic nail cleaner strap end dating to AD250-410. At the top, is a single plate (presumably there was a second plate forming the rest of the strap attachment which is now lost) with a rivet hole in the centre towards the upper edges (this extend beyond the back of the remaining plate and presumably attached to the backing plate). An incomplete copper alloy Roman T-shaped brooch. 1st to 2nd century AD. The lower half and catchplate are missing. The wings are formed around a central iron axis bar, which appears to be present within the wings, but not across the slot which allows for the pin (which is also missing). The wings are 22mm wide. The brooch is 19mm long, from wings to break. The top of the bow has a moulded triangular boss. For reference see Hattatt Visual catalogue Fig 161, No 920.

A large late Roman plain cast copper alloy buckle frame with an integral triangular plate. The ensemble measures 67.83mm and is 35.52mm wide. One of the two surviving rivets measures 7.82 in length. The frame is wide and forms an oval. The triangular plate ends in a circular terminal which is pierced for a rivet. Two other rivets penetrate the plate adjacent to the missing pin which was of iron.

A hollow foot from a Roman vessel. A similar example was found in excavations at Colchester (Crummy 1983: 73, no. 2051 fig. 76), where it was suggested to be possibly a foot from a bowl. See also BH-1911F3 and NLM-A2CB67.The foot is pelta-shaped with a central incomplete groove.
