A complete copper alloy book mount from the corner of a book - most probably a bible. The mount is cast and does not appear to be machine pressed - although the design has many attributes of machine pressed design. As such it is likely that the mount is most probably modern in date 1750 - 1850, possibly in the style of the Neo-Gothic movement. A complete cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount with zoomorphic decoration etched into the face. This style of mount can be classified as Williams Class A, Type 1. See Williams, D. (1997). Late Saxon Stirrup Strap Mounts. CBA Research Report 111. Page 27, no. 2, 8 and 9. L-shaped in cross section, and lozenge shaped in plan, with a flattened lower corner. There are three circular holes, two placed near the flat edge and one at the top corner. All holes appear placed irregularly. The decoration features symetrically placed beasts with heads facing each other and snouts downwards.

A complete copper alloy mount of post-medieval date. The mount is sexfoil in plan divided into lozenge panels by shallow incised lines radiating from the slightly domed centre. The terminals of the six panels are tri-lobed and otherwise undecorated. The reverse is concave with a circular sectioned attachment spike projecting from the centre. The metal has a mid brown patina and is worn. The mount is 16.8mm in diameter, 4.3mm thick, 18.1mm long including spike and weighs 4.6g.

A fragment of an unusual Middle Iron Age cast copper alloy brooch. Much of the upper part is missing along with the spring and pin. The reverted foot is cast as one with the bow. The remainder of the bow is flat with a complex external edge and is perforated by a number of circular holes. The holes in the foot and bow would have secured an additional material to the upper surface with small rivets. The additional material may have been glass or perhaps coral, although no glass examples have yet been found outside of grave contexts.

Incomplete copper-alloy dagger of Bronze Age date. The blade is triangular in plan and a very narrow lozenge-shape in section with a faint mid-rib running down the centre of both faces of the blade but ending at the point where the tang starts. The pointed tip of the dagger is missing and all of the blade edges are heavily worn and damaged. A copper-alloy fragment of a Late Medieval to early post-Medieval purse bar. The bar fragment is of circular section, tapering towards the distal end, where there is an integrally cast terminal. This terminal is of flattened-globular form, its surface decorated by a series of 'V-shaped' grooves, aligned horizontally and equally spaced. Length: 33.7mm; diameter of terminal: 11.9mm; weight: 6.96g. This piece is part of a London Museum type B3 purse (see Ward Perkins 1967: 167, fig. 52).
