Cast copper alloy trapezoidal knee buckle with concave sides, an internally bevelled inside edge and widened exterior edges to each loop, and two moulded transverse ridges on either side of a raised square above the spindle hole which has been drilled into the frame. The spindle, chape and pin are all intact, and the areas of iron corrosion around the spindle suggest it is made of iron, but the pin and chape are both sheet copper alloy. Copper alloy counter of a spade half-guinea of George III, but produced many years after the half-guinea became obsolete, even though it is dated to 1788 on the reverse, this is an arbitrary date. There was a revival later in the 19th century, during Victoria's reign, because the counters could not be confused with the coins that were legal tender at the time. A Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount in the shape of an acorn. The front is slightly convex and moulded and the back is dished. There are the stubs of two integral circular sectioned rivet spikes on the back, one is longer than the other and is bent outwardly. The acorn has an elongated oval shape with a narrower 'nut', a raised plain collar across the middle and a broader cup below decorated with raised lozenges. A circular copper-alloy possible harness pendant of the medieval period (c. 12th-13th century). The front depicts a left facing lion passant with a long tail within a beaded border with cusps: on clearer examples there are a total of seven tendrils that spring inwardly in an anti-clockwise direction. An incomplete, worn and corroded copper alloy Medieval horse harness pendant. The remnant of the pendant is sub rectangular in shape but due to corrosion and edge damage it is not posssible to say if this is its original form. A cast copper-alloy and iron pole-mounted and skirted terret of Roman date, c. 43-200 The terret consists of a ring, sub-circular in section, cast integral with four triangular extensions emerging from the base of the ring every 90 degrees, and a cast integral iron shank, rectangular in section, emerging downward from the centre of the base of the ring. The overall shape is rather robust and retains an even surface and patina. There is iron-corrosion staining the shank.
