A Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy mount in the shape of an acorn. The front is slightly convex and moulded and the back is dished. There are the stubs of two integral circular sectioned rivet spikes on the back, one is longer than the other and is bent outwardly. The acorn has an elongated oval shape with a narrower 'nut', a raised plain collar across the middle and a broader cup below decorated with raised lozenges.
The object is 28mm long by 15mm wide,and 1.7mm thick excluding the rivets, It weighs 3.02g.

An incomplete, worn and corroded copper alloy Medieval horse harness pendant. The remnant of the pendant is sub rectangular in shape but due to corrosion and edge damage it is not posssible to say if this is its original form. A suspension loop with a long neck protrudes from the upper long edge and is set perpendicular to the plane of the pendant body. It is pierced with a 2.9mm circular hole.
