Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy Cruciform brooch of Ã…berg 1926, Group I, lower part of the footplate missing. The fully round top knob is cast separately and presumably attached with solder. It is waisted, decorated with three encircling grooves below and above the waist, and ends in a tab projecting in front of the headplate. This is decorated along both lateral edges with a (probably punched) broad groove containing a row of pellets. Incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester Derivative Hinged brooch with an iron axis bar, and with most of the pin and the lower end of the bow and catchplate missing. Mackreth 2011, CD H 4.c. Decoration comprises a pair of engraved grooves near the outer end of the wings and a median rib on the round-sectioned bow. Wingspan 35mm. Extant length 39.5mm. c.55 - c.80 AD.

Incomplete and very abraded copper alloy Roman Colchester brooch, stumps only of the wings, forward facing hook and spring. The bow ends in a spike and has lost the catchplate. Length 18.9mm. Mackreth 2011, Colchester type 7.aa. Late in the sequence of Colchesters, c.50 - c.70 AD.
