Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy Cruciform brooch of Åberg 1926, Group I, lower part of the footplate missing. The fully round top knob is cast separately and presumably attached with solder. It is waisted, decorated with three encircling grooves below and above the waist, and ends in a tab projecting in front of the headplate. This is decorated along both lateral edges with a (probably punched) broad groove containing a row of pellets.
