Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy Cruciform brooch. The top knob is slightly elongated and half-round, and the detachable side knobs are missing. The headplate is very narrow, consisting mainly of a panel flanked by slight wings. There are three worn and insubstantial ribs at the top of the D-sectioned bow, which is broken across a flattened central section. The lower part of the brooch is missing. Single pin-lug on reverse. Length 28mm. Width of bow 10mm. Width of bow at break 8.5mm. Weight 3.58g. c.450 - c.500 AD.

Mackreth 2011, 164-5, British Domed Boss type 6a. Decoration comprises three concentric rings of triangular cells inlaid with enamel, the inner (9 cells) and outer (19) red, the middle one (16) blue. A cast copper alloy handle from a Roman patera. The handle is flat and is broken into two halves. It is almost complete. One end of the handle is concave where it would have continued into the vessel rim. The terminal end is rounded and the handle narrows slightly in the centre. A projection expands outwards from the centre of the terminal and curves round to join the edge of the handle creating an oval shaped perforation in the centre. An incomplete Iron Age cast potin unit of continental origin from the Soissons region of Belgica, c. 60-20 BC. It is known as the 'Soissons Eye Boar' potin unit. Roughly half the coin is missing, the break is apparently recent given the lack of discolouration along the break. There is a scar from the casting sprue at 3 o'clock. The obverse depicts a head facing right; the reverse an eye-and-boar motif with pellets and neck torc below. A complete cast copper alloy crotal bell, post medieval in date (AD1500-1850). The bell is sub-spherical in shape and consists of two cast halves welded together forming a raised median band. The upper hemisphere has two perforation holes on either side of an intact rectangular suspension loop with a neatly drilled perforation hole. On the lower half there are two circular perforations which are joined by a rectangular perforation. The pea remains within the bell but is corroded and immobile. The object has been over cleaned and the patina removed.

A cast copper alloy dress hook dating to the early Post-Medieval period. The object is a one piece hooked section of Read Class A, Type 2. The object is oval with the remains of three circular loops for attachment, one at the top, and one at either side. At the base of the object is a rectangular tab which is incomplete and would have formed a hook. The object has a double ridged moulding dividing the tab from the main body. The decoration is worn. The object has a dark grey patina and has been tinned. Similar examples can be found in Read, (2008), p168-170.
