A complete cast copper alloy ramrod holder from a musket. The holder has a flared terminal with a collar behind and two pierced tabs for attachment to the barrel. This holder is from the muzzle of the gun.The upper (invisible) face is inscribed XXIVI. The numbers presumably refer to the gun's assembly or production.
