A fragment of an undatable copper-alloy object, probably a knife shank. The fragment is sub rectangular in shape amd oval in cross section. It seems to have been constructed from alternating iron and brass scales. It measures 43mm in length.

Lead disocoidal weight with an off-centre round perforation.Thickness 9mm. Diameter 30mm. Hole diameter 11mm. The weight, 49.99g, does not correlate with the Troy or Avoirdupois systems. The positioning of the hole in this well made object shows that it is not a spindle whorl. Date uncertain, but not recent.

A cast copper alloy Polden Hill brooch dating to the Roman period, c. AD75-175. The wings are semi-cylindrical and terminate with a break. The axis bar, spring and pin are all missing. The bowhead is hump-like in profile and is decorated with two vertical ridges running parallel with each other, which terminate opposite the start of the catchplate, creating a rectangular pannel. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy finger ring of a possible snake-form. The ring is formed of a thin band of copper-alloy which has been coiled and is roughly equal width throughout much of its length, widening only towards the rounded possible head section. It has been broken at one end. There is no trace of zoomorphic modelling which is associated with snake rings. The only decoration on the upper surface is that of a series of vertical incised lines. An incomplete Roman (AD 55-100) copper-alloy Colchester derivative (two-piece) brooch. It measures 31mm in length. The head of the brooch has both wings intact; they are shallowly curved. From just the drawing it is difficult to say if any of the spring mechanism survives. The bow curves in a smooth arc and tapers towards the foot. The catch-plate survives.

An incomplete copper alloy finger ring of probable Roman date. Roughly 40% of the ring survives consisting of a D-sectioned hoop which widens to form an integral bezel. Both ends of the hoop are broken and worn and the finger ring appears to be undecorated. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The finger ring is 17.4mm long, 6.6mm wide, 1.8mm thick and weighs 0.8g.
