An earthenware pot sherd of medieval date, c.13th-14th century. The sherd has an unglazed pink interior surface, buff centre, with a patchy green lead glaze which has fine multiple crazing. The fabric is tempered with well sorted sand and is probably wheel made. The sherd is probably from the upper section of a drinking vessel/jug. Height of vessel sherd: 24.19 mm. Width: 23.70 mm. Thickness: 4.69 mm. Weight:245.3 grams.

It measures 18.86mm in diameter, is 0.84mm thick and weighs 1.407g. Identification as a variety is based on the spelling of 'penny' on the reverse: here with a double rather than single 'n'.

A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy strap mount (c.1600-1700). The mount is sub-triangular in plan, having a two-stepped knop projecting from the centre of its flat bottom side, and a similar moulding at the apex. The upper surface is slightly convex; the underside is flat and has two integral rivets, both of which have been bent outwards. A complete copper-alloy composite strap-end with sheet spacer and knop at the terminal end. The two sub-rectangular sheets and the spacer are joined by a single copper-alloy rivet. At the attachment end, the strap was secured with a single rivet, which survives in situ. The faces of both sheets are plain, with no evidence of tinning or gilding. An incomplete copper-alloy single-loop buckle, dating from the Medieval period, c.1350-1450 Only the inner side of the frame remains, the curved top and bottom arms extending from the offset axis bar. The rectangular plate has been doubled around this bar, with the pin attached via a central slot. The two sides of the plate would have been held together by two rivets, located at the corners of the non-frame end; only one of these copper-alloy rivets survives in situ. A iron double-loop-trapezoidal buckle frame constructed from rectangular bar and probably dating from the post-Medieval period. The iron pin is attached to a restriction in the rectangular strap bar, though this is not visible due to corrosion deposits. The pin is of flat sheet and tapers to a point. There is a similar piece in Ross Whitehead's book of buckles, page 88 No 546. Length of frame: 46.01 mm. Width: 43.07 mm to 36.40 mm. Thickness 5.40 mm. Weight 23 grams.

A complete cast copper alloy crotal bell dating to the post-medieval period. The bell chamber is made of one piece but has a girth seam intended to imitated the seam on earlier two-piece bells. The bell has a square suspension loop that has been seperately moulded and added to the chamber. The remains of 'sunburst' decoration can be seen faintly on both hemispheres.
