Medieval hammered silver coin of Henry VII, a half groat class IIIb, king and archbishop joint issue (North 1712). Rosette stops on the reverse, initial mark is a tun, and the mint is Canterbury. Dates from c1490 to c1500 AD. Obverse legend has been almost entirely removed by clipping. Reverse inner legend reads as CIVI TAS CAN TOR and the outer has been almost entirely removed by clipping. The diameter is 19mm and the weight 1.39g. The coin has been clipped.

A cast copper alloy thimble dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is circular in plan is domed at the top. The thimble is covered with regular pits which appear to be machine made. At the base of the object the surface is un-pitted at the edge of which runs a circumferential groove. The object has a mid-brown patina and is in good condition. It can be dated from c. 1620.

A cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Post-Medieval period, c.1550-1650. The object is a double looped oval buckle with moulded decoration on the frame. On each loop of the buckle are five moulded depressions. The strap bar is narrowed and the incomplete pin remains attached. Either end of the strap bar is decorated with a lobed knop. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. The object has a dark brown patina and is in good condition A similar example which can be found in Whitehead, (2003), p63 is no.385 and 386.

A cast copper alloy mount dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is asymmetrical and flat with a horizontal lobe projection at one end and two oval projections at the opposite end. It is decorated with curvilinear grooves in a foliate design. The rear of the object has a rectangular sectioned lug at each end. The object has a dark brown patina. A similar example which can be found in Read, (2001), p30 is no. 350. It can be dated to the 16th century.

The buckle frame is decorated with four moulded ridges at either end of the strap bar. The frame is drilled for a separate spindle. The pin is complete and remains attached. One end of the buckle frame is notched where the pin rested. It has a dark brown patina and is in good condition.

A cast copper alloy book clasp dating to the Medieval period. The object comprises of an upper plate and a narrower and shorter lower plate which are attached with four circular rivets. One end of the object flares outwards and is decorated with three inverted triangles inside of which is a herring-bone pattern. The pattern on the outer two is interrupted by a circular rivet hole. An incomplete cast copper alloy hooked mount. The mount has two plates, each with four lobes with pointed projections between (quatrefoil overlain by a square). One end of the plate is broken at the perforation and would have had a projecting knop when complete. The plate at the other end has a thick sub-triangular projection which tapers into a circular sectioned shaft and curves forward before terminating in a break. Copper alloy hooked tag form a sword belt or baldrick. This has a circular, concave, domed plate that is pierced in the centre with a copper alloy rivet still in place, the back of the rivet has a roughly cut octagonal plate. At the lower end is a rearwards facing hook that has a double flanged collar separating the hook from the plate, a piercing in the centre of the collar contains a copper alloy rivet. One half of a cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle. The object has moulded foliate decoration on the outer face of the frame. The end of the frame and either end of the strap bar are decorated with a projecting quatrefoil moulding. The pin is missing. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. The object terminates with a break which occurred during antiquity. It has a dark brown patina. A similar example which can be found in Whitehead, (2003), is on p65, no. 397.

Post-medieval copper alloy button. It is flat and discoidal and there are the remains of an attachment for a loop but this is now absent. The button is decorated with a central star within a circular border with protuding chevrons and a series of hearts around the outer border. It is possibly a livery button. Dates to between c1800 and c1900 AD. The diameter is 25mm and the weight 3.50g. Shares similarities with NLM-F22BA2, SUR-293816 and DEV-943792 on the database.

Distal end of a probably conical core. Worked around two thirds of the circumference with unretouched cortex on the other face. The cortex suggests pebble flint. The working scars show the piece has been worked to take repeated parallel removals off a prepared platform. The platform at the proximal end appears to have been deliberately removed by transverse strike and at least one further, very small, blade has been struck off the resulting platform.
