A Post Medieval cast copper alloy crotal bell. The bell is spherical, has been cast in one piece and has two circular holes at the top; in the bottom hemisphere are two circular holes with a liniar slit adjoining the two holes.There is an integral rectangular suspension loop, with a sub-circular hole at the centre. Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy rowel spur, the rowel and half of one D-sectioned side with the terminal missing (recent break). On the other, which is distorted, the symmetrically set figure-of-eight terminal lies beyond an opposed pair of lateral cusped crescentic projections. The neck begins with a lozengiform moulding and continues with a sub-square moulding, a wide rounded rib and a narrow rib, The rowel box droops slightly. Length of neck and box 22mm. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy buckle frame and pin. The frame has an openwork design. At the centre of the frame, the buckle is rectangular and there is a central bar for the pin.The outer frame arches on either side, forming a point at each side of the frame. The outer frame is decorated with a series of moulded pellets. The pin is is wrapped around the central bar. A similar buckle can be seen in 'Buckles 1250 - 1800' by Whitehead, number 496, page 80 (please see reference below). The buckle dates from c. AD 1600 -1700.

A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy mount, probably dating from c. AD 1600 - AD 1700. The mount is rounded in the middle, tapering to a point at the top and bottom. Both the front and reverse of the object are plain with no traces of decoration. On the back are two outward curving integral lugs for means of attachment; one is positioned at the top and the other at the bottom of the mount.

A Post Medieval copper alloy trade weight. The weight is circular in plan and has a raised rim at the top, forming a cup shape. There are stamp marks visible; at the centre is a circle and arranged around this is a crom with a 'W' underneath, a square topped shield with a cross within, and a third unclear stamp. The 'W' probably stands for William III (AD 1694 - 1702).

An incomplete Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy sword belt fitting, consisting of a hooked plate looped into a suspension loop with a fragment of adjoining mount. This fragment of mount would have had three suspension loops from which a trio of such hooked plates would have hung. In turn, the scabbard straps would have been attached to these plates. Distal end of a probably conical core. Worked around two thirds of the circumference with unretouched cortex on the other face. The cortex suggests pebble flint. The working scars show the piece has been worked to take repeated parallel removals off a prepared platform. The platform at the proximal end appears to have been deliberately removed by transverse strike and at least one further, very small, blade has been struck off the resulting platform. A white metal seal matrix that seems to be complete having no obvious breaks. This artefact weighs 3.25g. The body of the seal matrix is circular with a diameter of 13.3mm and rectangular cross-section of 2.1mm thickness. This part of the matrix appears flat however a slight curve, more noticeable on the reverse, is present which allows the artefact to balance stably on a finger-tip.
