Clay tobacco pipe fragment. Straight stem and pointed basal spur of a moulded tobacco pipe with wire drawn bore. The narrow diameter of the bore, c.2.2mm, suggests this comes from a relatively recent pipe; similar spurs appear on some pipes dated to the mid-19th century. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900.
Length: 42.3mm, Weight: 3.57g.
