A complete cast lead alloy token of medieval to post-medieval date. The token is flat and circular and is decorated on one side with a raised design of seven spokes radiating from a central pellet. A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token (1250-1850 AD). The token has been cast with a raised design of a equal arm cross with a star in three of the quarters and a capital T in the fourth and a flat, undecorated reverse it also has a hole at it's center. The token measures 27.99 mm in diameter, 1.52 mm thick and weighs 5.6 grams. A Medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant. The item is shield shaped in plan. The front face has a slightly raised surface which possibly depicts a lion rampant. The reverse face is plain. There are no traces of enamel on the surface. The top narrows to a short point- this presumably was the attachment loop for suspension but it has now partially broken away and is worn. This harness pendant is particularly small in comparisson to other pendants, and it is possible that this was used for on a smaller animal rather than a horse (Brian Read, pers comm).

Sheet copper alloy plate from a medieval composite strap end of circular form. The plate is circular but with an angular outside edge opposite a small lozengiform projection pierced by a single rivet hole. On the reverse all of the edge, apart from the pierced projection and a short length on either side of it, is followed by a thick deposit of grey solder.This would have secured a forked spacer (cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, nos. 648-52). Length 27.5mm. Width 23mm. 14th century.

A Medieval copper alloy stirrup fragment, probably of 14th or 15th century date. The stirrup has the remains of both curving side arms present, but they have broken away at the ends; the stirrup bar is also missing. There is a scallop-shell decorative moulding at the top of the stirrup, which may indicate links with pilgrimage. The scallop-design has deep grooving with a convex upper edge and concave sides and base. Behind the scallp-shell is a rectangular loop, resumably through which a leather strap was fitted.

Cast lead-alloy weight, probably a spindle whorl dating from the medieval period, that is c. AD1200-1500. The weight is circular, with a large perforation in the centre that held the spindle. The leg terminates in a probably tripartite sub-triangular foot, possibly modelled on an animal paw. This feature would be apt to an item of tableware, but the object is heavily sooted, suggesting its last use was on the hearth. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1350. The bowl is also heavily truncated and only the section at the base of the stem remains, this section has narrow straight sides that gradually expand outwards suggesting that the bowl was originally either a fig shape or narrow oval bowl, dating the object to between the 15th to 18th century.

Incomplete medieval lead figurine probably depicting the crucified Christ, the lower part missing. The reverse is flat and the front face almost so. Both arms are raised in a position suggestive of crucifixion rather than of prayer, though the hands, with fingers indicated by fine engraving, are not pierced. The nimbed head is ovoid and the eyes, nose and mouth are engraved in a somewhat rudimentary manner. Further lines on the torso suggest a garment. A small attachment hole is placed centrally just above the break. Height 39.7mm. Width 35.4mm. Thickness 3.7mm. 12th - 13th century.
