Medieval hammered silver coin of Henry VII, a half groat class IIIb, king and archbishop joint issue (North 1712). Rosette stops on the reverse, initial mark is a tun, and the mint is Canterbury. Dates from c1490 to c1500 AD. Obverse legend has been almost entirely removed by clipping. Reverse inner legend reads as CIVI TAS CAN TOR and the outer has been almost entirely removed by clipping. The diameter is 19mm and the weight 1.39g. The coin has been clipped.
