A carved bone or antler gaming piece for the game 'dominos' or 'dominoes', probably dating from the 18th century. The domino is rectangular in plan and set within a lead surround leaving only the upper face visible. It is a domino of the value 3, (1 and 2). One of the ring-and-dot settings has been drilled or carved with the hole remaining empty while the other is in filled with a black inset (possibly black ivory). A cast copper alloy book clasp dating to the Medieval period. The object comprises of an upper plate and a narrower and shorter lower plate which are attached with four circular rivets. One end of the object flares outwards and is decorated with three inverted triangles inside of which is a herring-bone pattern. The pattern on the outer two is interrupted by a circular rivet hole. A cast copper alloy thimble dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is circular in plan is domed at the top. The thimble is covered with regular pits which appear to be machine made. At the base of the object the surface is un-pitted at the edge of which runs a circumferential groove. The object has a mid-brown patina and is in good condition. It can be dated from c. 1620.

A cast copper alloy mount dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is asymmetrical and flat with a horizontal lobe projection at one end and two oval projections at the opposite end. It is decorated with curvilinear grooves in a foliate design. The rear of the object has a rectangular sectioned lug at each end. The object has a dark brown patina. A similar example which can be found in Read, (2001), p30 is no. 350. It can be dated to the 16th century.

It does appears to have deliberately cast holes, similar to the openwork style, and possible ring and dot decoration. Its original intended purpose is unknown but if it isn't casting waste it could be part of a Late Early Medieval to early Medieval strap-end of Thomas's Class E, similar to LANCUM-2409F1 but cast in lead. Post-medieval copper alloy button. It is flat and discoidal and there are the remains of an attachment for a loop but this is now absent. The button is decorated with a central star within a circular border with protuding chevrons and a series of hearts around the outer border. It is possibly a livery button. Dates to between c1800 and c1900 AD. The diameter is 25mm and the weight 3.50g. Shares similarities with NLM-F22BA2, SUR-293816 and DEV-943792 on the database.

Post-medieval cast copper alloy spoon bowl with an oval perforation. The bowl is a pointed oval shape in plan and the stem was attached in a form of 'rat tail'. The perforation (length 7mm, width 5.5mm) appears to be deliberate but the purpose is unknown. Probably dates to between c1650 and c1750 AD. The length is 55mm, width 28mm, and the weight 10.40g. Spoon is similar, but not identical to SWYOR-4A2623, DUR-B9BAC6, SUSS-B3F337, and HAMP-268CF3 on the database.

Medieval hammered silver coin of Henry VII, a half groat class IIIb, king and archbishop joint issue (North 1712). Rosette stops on the reverse, initial mark is a tun, and the mint is Canterbury. Dates from c1490 to c1500 AD. Obverse legend has been almost entirely removed by clipping. Reverse inner legend reads as CIVI TAS CAN TOR and the outer has been almost entirely removed by clipping. The diameter is 19mm and the weight 1.39g. The coin has been clipped.

Large and heavy Roman silver finger-ring set with an intaglio. Most of the lower part of the hoop is missing, but is of rectangular profile which expands and swells to triangular shoulders and flat ovoid bezel. Around the top of the ring is a collar of gilding. The intaglio is a pale orange carnelian engraved with a figure of Victory crowning a standing figure of Mars with his head turned the right, unusually away from Victory. Probable enamelled copper alloy mount or stud, possibly late Iron Age. The artefact has been affected by corrosion and on the undecorated face this corrosion may have removed all trace of any mounting that may originally have been there. The decorated face consists of a raised eight rayed cross, star, or flower, within a raised circular border. Late Mesolithic flint microlith made from a tertiary flake of pale grey near transparent flint. It is rectangular in plan. Both the proximal and distal end terminate where they have been snapped, leaving hinge fractures. Dorsal ridge runs parallel approximately 1mm from the edge, for the entire length of the microlith. The other mesal edge, 2mm from the ridge, has extremely fine short, parallel, abrupt retouch. Dating from c7000 to c4000 BC. The length is 5mm, width 3mm, thickness 0.5mm, and the weight is less than 0.1g.

Only the buckle frame and central bar survive; if there was a pin, it is now missing. The frame is sub circular in plan, and rectangular in cross section.
