One half of a cast copper alloy double looped oval buckle. The object has moulded foliate decoration on the outer face of the frame. The end of the frame and either end of the strap bar are decorated with a projecting quatrefoil moulding. The pin is missing. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. The object terminates with a break which occurred during antiquity. It has a dark brown patina. A similar example which can be found in Whitehead, (2003), is on p65, no. 397.

A cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Post-Medieval period, c. 1600-1720. The object is a double looped buckle which is sub-rectangular in plan. The outer edge of each end of the frame is undulating. The strap bar is narrowed and is triangular in cross-section. The pin is missing. The object has a dark brown patina and is in fair condition.

A cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Post-Medieval period, c.1660-1720. The object is a trapezoidal buckle with concave ends. The buckle frame is decorated with four moulded ridges at either end of the strap bar. The frame is drilled for a separate spindle. The pin is complete and remains attached. One end of the buckle frame is notched where the pin rested. It has a dark brown patina and is in good condition.

On each loop of the buckle are five moulded depressions. The strap bar is narrowed and the incomplete pin remains attached. Either end of the strap bar is decorated with a lobed knop. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. The object has a dark brown patina and is in good condition A similar example which can be found in Whitehead, (2003), p63 is no.385 and 386.

A complete cast copper alloy buckle dating to the Post-Medieval period, c.1500-1650. The object is a double looped oval buckle with an angled frame. At either end of the object the frame is notched. The strap bar is narrowed and the pin remains attached. The pin is complete and consists of a pointed strip of copper alloy which is curled around the strap bar. It measures 18.28mm in length and 1.45mm in width at the point. The rear of the object is flat and undecorated.
