At the top is an integrally cast rectangular suspension loop, with a central semi-circular aperture. The upper half of the bell has a circular sound hole and is decorated with transverse grooves radiating from the suspension loop, circa 5.0mm in length. This bell measures 35.37mm in height, 30.93mm in diameter, 1.78mm in thickness, 13.56g in weight.

At the centre of the bell is a prominent circumferential casting ridge. This bell measures 31.81mm in height, 34.16mm in diameter, 1.79mm in thickness, 13.86g in weight.

A curvilinear fragment of copper-alloy spherical (crotal) bell of Post-Medieval date. The majority of the bell is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The front face has the remains of decoration comprising of petal shaped motifs, which would of originally radiated from the sound slot to the circumferential ridge. Beneath the petal motifs is a semi-circular field delimitated by a single groove. Within this is the letter T, an initial from the makers mark. This bell measures 24.18mm in length, 11.44mm in width, 1.45mm in thickness, 2.14g in weight

The loop is D-shaped in form and section, tapering at both sides in stylised zoomorphic terminals. These are in the form of animal heads with crescent shaped ears, prominent and projecting triangular brows with transverse grooves, and elongated snouts. An early-medieval copper-alloy strap-end, classified as Thomas's (2003, 2) Class A, Type 1 (Trewhiddle style), slightly damaged at the attachment end. This would date the artefact to around the 9th century AD. The strap-end is flat in profile. The plate expands from a width of 10.0mm the attachment end to a maximum width of 13.5mm at the base of the split. From this point it tapers consistently towards an animal head terminal (W.: 6.8mm).
