Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Distal end of a probably conical core. Worked around two thirds of the circumference with unretouched cortex on the other face. The cortex suggests pebble flint. The working scars show the piece has been worked to take repeated parallel removals off a prepared platform. The platform at the proximal end appears to have been deliberately removed by transverse strike and at least one further, very small, blade has been struck off the resulting platform. The flint is pale grey with paler mottling. It is 25.9mm long, 23.7mm by 15.0mm at the platform and weighs 12.40 grams.
