Medieval copper alloy bar-mount with terminal and central lobes. Both the former are pierced by holes countersunk on the rear and containing a rivet. The latter, which is larger and hollow-backed, is decorated with a small and rather roughly made central hole, six longitudinal filed grooves and many shallow transverse grooves. 8.7 x 19.8mm. 14th century.

Copper alloy bar mount with a large central low-domed oval plate that is decorated with five recessed, transverse lines at the waist. Two small sub-oval arms project from the top and bottom and are pierced to accommodate a copper alloy rivet (one rivet is still in place). There is an off centre hole in the middle of the oval plate. The rear of the oval is dished.

A Medieval copper alloy stirrup fragment, probably of 14th or 15th century date. The stirrup has the remains of both curving side arms present, but they have broken away at the ends; the stirrup bar is also missing. There is a scallop-shell decorative moulding at the top of the stirrup, which may indicate links with pilgrimage. The scallop-design has deep grooving with a convex upper edge and concave sides and base. Behind the scallp-shell is a rectangular loop, resumably through which a leather strap was fitted.

Sheet copper alloy plate from a medieval composite strap end of circular form. The plate is circular but with an angular outside edge opposite a small lozengiform projection pierced by a single rivet hole. On the reverse all of the edge, apart from the pierced projection and a short length on either side of it, is followed by a thick deposit of grey solder.This would have secured a forked spacer (cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, nos. 648-52). Length 27.5mm. Width 23mm. 14th century.

A Medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant. The item is shield shaped in plan. One face has traces of red enamel remaining but it is not possible to ascertain what the decoration is. The reverse face is plain and there are no traces of enamel. The top narrow to a short point- this presumably was the attachment loop for suspension but it has now partially broken away and worn. This harness pendant is particularly small in comparisson to other pendants, and it is possible that this was used for on a smaller animal rather than a horse (Brian Read, pers comm).

Incomplete and badly distorted medieval giltcopper alloy unidentified object, a parallel-sided strip, one end broken across a rivet or attachment hole, with another hole near the other end. Both holes are set off-centre and nearer to the same edge, with centres c.57mm apart. Length 62mm. Width 15.7mm. A few specks of gilding are extant, on one face only. Perhaps 13th or 14th century.

A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead alloy circular unifaced token (1250-1850 AD). The token has been cast with a raised design of a equal arm cross with a star in three of the quarters and a capital T in the fourth and a flat, undecorated reverse it also has a hole at it's center. A complete cast lead alloy token of medieval to post-medieval date. The token is flat and circular and is decorated on one side with a raised design of seven spokes radiating from a central pellet. Three concentric circles expand from the pellet. This design may represent a wheel. The reverse of the token is flat and undecorated. The metal is amid greyish-white colour and is worn. Probable enamelled copper alloy mount or stud, possibly late Iron Age. The artefact has been affected by corrosion and on the undecorated face this corrosion may have removed all trace of any mounting that may originally have been there. The decorated face consists of a raised eight rayed cross, star, or flower, within a raised circular border.
