A cast copper alloy mount dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is asymmetrical and flat with a horizontal lobe projection at one end and two oval projections at the opposite end. It is decorated with curvilinear grooves in a foliate design. The rear of the object has a rectangular sectioned lug at each end. The object has a dark brown patina. A similar example which can be found in Read, (2001), p30 is no. 350. It can be dated to the 16th century.

An incomplete cast copper alloy hooked mount. The mount has two plates, each with four lobes with pointed projections between (quatrefoil overlain by a square). One end of the plate is broken at the perforation and would have had a projecting knop when complete. The plate at the other end has a thick sub-triangular projection which tapers into a circular sectioned shaft and curves forward before terminating in a break.
