A carved bone or antler gaming piece for the game 'dominos' or 'dominoes', probably dating from the 18th century. The domino is rectangular in plan and set within a lead surround leaving only the upper face visible. It is a domino of the value 3, (1 and 2). One of the ring-and-dot settings has been drilled or carved with the hole remaining empty while the other is in filled with a black inset (possibly black ivory).
