An incomplete copper alloy annular buckle frame or strap slide dating from the late medieval or early post-medieval period, that is c. AD1350-1650. Only the buckle frame and central bar survive; if there was a pin, it is now missing. The frame is sub circular in plan, and rectangular in cross section. The front of the frame consists of a central bar, D-shaped in cross section, surrounded by a circular frame. A narrowing is present at the centre of the central bar, probably to retain the pin.
