There is a small copper-alloy piece of metalwork integrated into one of the larger surfaces but it is unclear what it was primary to insertation into the weight. Kevin Leahy (pers. comm.) adds that it does not fit into the Danish module as it does resemble some of the weights on which Dave Haldenby and Jane Kershaw are working.
