A complete but worn rectangular copper-alloy book clasp of Post-Medieval date. It is flat with a 5mm long hook projecting from one end, the other is expanded with three U-shaped notches cut into its edge. There are two parallel central circular rivet holes at either end. Between these is a circular indentation, which does not pierce through the plate. The front face is decorated with a circular groove around the rivet hole at the attachment end and the central indentation. The object is dark brown to gold in colour however has been over cleaned. A similar example which can be found in Whitehead (2003), p87, is no.540.

An incomplete copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of Medieval date. It is missing the pin. The frame is D-shaped in section with a slightly expanded outer edge. The bar is central and trapezoidal in section. This buckle frame measures 22.21mm in length, 17.77mm in width, 2.56mm in thickness, 2.52g in weight. There are similar examples from London (Egan and Prichard, 1991, p. 83, no. 337, 339).

Lead sheathing for iron inserted into stone, as with a fencepost. Cast fragment with fluted or ribbed outer surface, an upper flange where surplus lead has solidified, and a smooth surface within which retains flakes of rust. Patinated overall and rolled up at one end. The juxtaposition with corroded iron may suggest this served as a sheath for structural ironwork to prevent its corrosion and expansion from shattering a stone setting. An incomplete cast copper-alloy double looped buckle frame of Post-Medieval. It is missing the pin. The frame is D-shaped in section with a rosette on the outer edges and expanded lobes at the junctions of the bar and frame. The bar is narrowed and triangular in section. This buckle frame measures 43.90mm in length, 24.99mm in width, 3.61mm in thickness, 10.05g in weight. There is a similar example from Norwich (Margeson, 1993, p.31, fig 174).

Lead possible curse tablet. A rectangle of cast sheet of thickness 1.3mm tightly folded and then rolled into a tapering cylinder. The object is so tightly rolled and compressed as to forbid a use as a weight for a line running through its middle, though a cut on one side might have provided a tying groove. Patinated overall. The light gauge of the sheet and its neat compression differentiate this object from net weights of comparable form. Suggested date: Roman, 43-410. Length: 34.6mm, Width: 11.5mm, Thickness (overall): 8.1mm, Weight: 13.33gms.
