Silver possible ingot. Cast oval-ended lump the size and shape of a coffee bean, with a long (6.5mm) deep 93.3mm) slot in one side. The surface is black, either through corrosion or from a thick layer of paint or oil, though a scratch reveals dense white metal below. Similar objects have been reported from the vicinity (e.g. possible ingot NLM-930AB3), and a group were also severally reported at a metal detecting rally near Alford, Lincolnshire, in 2013.
