A complete lead token of medieval to post-medieval date, circa AD 1200 - 1800. The token is uni-faced and is sub-ovate in plan with one side heavily worn away and a thin rectangular section. The decoration consists of a large anchor on one side and is of Powell's Type 5. The reverse is worn so it is difficult to discern any pattern or lettering with certainty. The metal is a pale brown-grey colour and is worn. The token is 18.66mm in diameter, 1.32mm thick and weighs 2.65g. The front bears a flower resembling a chrysanthemum with a low central boss. Patinated overall. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1625-1685. Hollow cast ampulla with an unusually elongated tapering neck, a pair of open D shaped loops at either side of the base of the neck, an upper horizontal cordon level with the top of the handles and another level with their base. The lower flask-shaped part of the badge is flat based and one side bears vertical ribs intended to resemble the corrugations of a cockle shell. The object comprises a paw of probably three pads, a narrowed 'wrist' and a curving continuation presumably broken from the bowl of the vessel. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1850. Length: 30.8mm, Width: 18mm, Thickness: 5.4mm, Weight: 6.72gms.

The object has a light white patina. Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typically dated broadly to the Medieval period c.1100-1500.

A complete spindle whorl of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. The object is circular in profile and bi-convex in section with a central, circular perforation running through it. One side appears to be decorated with raised lines radiating from the perforation into triangular cells, resembling a multi-pointed star. However the advanced degree of wear renders any definite pattern illegible. The reverse of the spindle whorl is extremley worn with no discernable pattern.
