Post Medieval (16th to early 17th century) clothing fastening, dress hook: The copper alloy fastening has a central, elaborately shaped and pierced plate, rectangular loop and incomplete hook. The rectangular loop is opposite the hook and plain. The central plate has a flat back and a shaped front. On the front is a central circular plate with a raised rim within which is a raised square piece with four pointed oval indents, one in each corner.
