A complete copper alloy domed / beehive thimble of Late Medieval dating (c. AD 1400 to c. AD 1550) The thimble is of the beehive or domed shape, and is sub circular in shape. A series of circular holes or indentations have been punched around the sides in horizontal and vertical lines. The indentations are in a circular pattern on the domed top. Two horizontal grooves are present as decoration just above the base of the thimble. The thimble measures 15.92 mm tall, 17.67 mm wide ay the bottom and 15.54 mm wide at the top.
