A copper-alloy toggle of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date. The upper part of the toggle comprises a circular-sectioned bar which terminates at either end in a disc with a boss at the centre of its outer surface. An inward-bowing arm angles downwards from either end of this bar, the two converging arms meeting at the base, where they extend into a short, vertical portion. An single groove separates this arm from a flattened-globular moulding. Width: 22mm; length: 18.4mm; thickness (basal moulding): 8.5mm; weight: 6.01g. Part of a cast copper alloy, two piece, Type B beaded torc, dating from the late Iron Age to the early Roman period, about 100 BC - AD 200. Part of the separate beaded front portion survives. It consists of five beads, and one terminal. Each bead has a larger disc, the edge of which is decorated with two circumferential grooves, flanked by two smaller discs which are beaded. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age to Roman strip-bow brooch dating to the period AD 25 - 75. Only the head, the upper part of the bow and part of the wings survives. The pin is missing. The brooch measures 31.34mm in length, 15.23mm maximum width and weighs 1.49g. The remaining tubular wing span measures 15.23mm with a diameter of c. 3.29mm. An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age to Roman strip bow brooch dating to the period c. AD 25-75. The brooch is missing the pin, part of the catch plate and the tips of both wings. It measures 50.74mm in length, 20.02mm at its widest point (across the wings), 2.83mm at its narrowest point (tip of the foot) and weighs 4.96g. The tubular wing span is 20.02mm and c. 3.15mm in diameter. Both wings terminate in old breaks.
