An incomplete copper-alloy harness pendant of Medieval date. Only the suspension hoop and the top of the pendant survive, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The suspension loop is oval and flat and is set at right angles to the plane of the pendant. Beneath this is an integrally cast circular knob. This is D-shaped in section with a flat back face, before terminating in old breaks. This harness pendant measures 17.48mm in length, 9.50mm in width, 4.91mm in thickness, 2.94g in weight.

A cast copper-alloy harness pendant of Medieval date. It has a circular plate that is oval in section, from which radiate six evenly spaced scallop or lozenge-shaped projections. From the upper projection extends an integrally cast suspension loop that is flat, oval in form, set at ninety degrees to the plane of the plate and with a single circular perforation. Medieval gilt copper alloy harness pendant, ovoid with a central aperture of similar shape, a hole for a missing riveted stud just below the suspension loop, a secondary punched hole and a six-pointed sat reserved on a field of punched annulets. Very similar to an example from Roudham, Norfolk (Ashley 2002, fig. 6 no. 6). Height 40.5mm. Width 26mm. Second half 12th century.
