Half of a post medieval copper alloy rose farthing of Charles I (AD 1625-1649) dating AD 1639-1643. The coin has been intentionally cut in half and is stained black after deposition in the Thames, making it difficult to read. This is a North Rose Type 3 (1975, no. 2293) or Everson Rose Type 4 (2007, 62).
Dimensions: diameter: 12.48 mm; weight: 0.35g.
