A fragment of a cast copper alloy vessel of Medieval to post-Medieval date. The fragment is part of the leg of a cooking vessel. The leg is sub-triangular in section with rounded corners and expands outward towards the foot. The base of the leg is flat and the upper edge terminates in a worn break. The object is undecorated. The metal has a mid brown patina with sooty deposits and is worn. The fragment is 39.84mm long, 32.32 mm wide, 17.46mm thick and weighs 63.17 grammes. Late Neolithic to mid Bronze Age reworked tertiary waste flake, or tool fragment, of very pale translucent grey flint. Very fine short, parallel, abrupt retouch to two edges. There are six edges in all. Dates from c2700 to c1000 BC. The length is 16mm, width 14mm, thickness 2mm, and the weight is 0.4g.

A fragment of a medieval to post-medieval cast copper-alloy purse bar (c. 1450-1550) of Type B3 (Ward Perkins 1940, 167-168; fig. 22). This fragment is part of one arm and a complete integral terminal. The arm is circular in cross-section and tapers slightly towards the terminal. The bulbous terminal has two parallel circumferential grooves around its diameter creating a central ridge. There is a single groove centred diametrically across its outer face. An incomplete copper alloy book fitting of post-medieval date. It is a flat fitting with a central oval section flanked by rectangular sections with central vertical engraved lines. At one end the fitting then terminates in an old break. At the other end is a rectagular projection which bends under the object. Both faces are undecorated.

A stone cosmetic mortar of Roman date. It is a square piece of stone with bevelled edges. It has numerous grooves and scrapes on both sides. Small slabs of stone were used as palettes on which to mix cosmetics or medicines; these palettes have bevelled edges, and were probably kept with the more decorative bevelled side up. This is suggested by this example where it is the undersurface that has been worn by the action of mixing; palettes have been found with edges worn by the sharpening of scalpels. An incomplete copper-alloy mount of Roman date. It is part of a Roman soldier's armour, a groin protector and is a flat, shield shaped mount which has an old break at one end. This would have ended in a central hole which is now semi-circular. There is a circular hole at each side of the larger hole for seperate rivets, one of which is missing. The other end terminates in an oval knop which has a collar.
