A stone cosmetic mortar of Roman date. It is a square piece of stone with bevelled edges. It has numerous grooves and scrapes on both sides. Small slabs of stone were used as palettes on which to mix cosmetics or medicines; these palettes have bevelled edges, and were probably kept with the more decorative bevelled side up. This is suggested by this example where it is the undersurface that has been worn by the action of mixing; palettes have been found with edges worn by the sharpening of scalpels. An incomplete copper-alloy mount of Roman date. It is part of a Roman soldier's armour, a groin protector and is a flat, shield shaped mount which has an old break at one end. This would have ended in a central hole which is now semi-circular. There is a circular hole at each side of the larger hole for seperate rivets, one of which is missing. The other end terminates in an oval knop which has a collar.

A complete Roman cast copper-alloy vessel foot (AD 43-409). This object is roughly semi-circular in plan, sub-rectangular in cross-section and flat on both faces. The curving part has a flat side and the straight edge is cusped or frilled with a comma-shaped projection at each end. Adjacent to the cusped edge are two kidney-shaped openings. One is slightly larger than the other. This object has small areas of corrosion with a patchy green patina. Length: 53.9mm; width: 18.8mm, thickness at frilled edge: 4.9mm; thickness at curved edge: 5.9mm. Weight: 18.38g.

An incomplete copper alloy headstud brooch of Roman date. The head is comprised of long, tubular wings with a central axis bar around which the pin would have been hinged. The pin proper no longer remains. The wings bear traces of decoration though its exact nature cannot be determined due to an advance degree of wear. The wings have iron corrosion on the surface suggesting that the pin mechanism may have been made out of iron. An incomplete, Roman, copper-alloy bow and fantail variant brooch. It has flat, rectangular wings each decorated with two vertical grooves. A cylinder is contained on the reverse housing an axis bar for a hinged pin. At the top in the centre is an incomplete chain loop. The upper bow is arched and D-shaped in section. In the centre of the bow is a large circular boss containing a quatrefoil of reserved metal, set against a background of degraded colourless enamel. The lower bow and foot are missing.

Enamelled cast copper alloy disc brooch with four lugs dating from the Roman period, that is from between c. AD100-250. The brooch is complete with hinge, foot and pin on the reverse. It is in very good condition. It has four lugs (top, bottom, left and right), two of which are perforated.The brooch is plain on the back and decorated with enamelled decoration on the obverse.
