A complete copper alloy modified probable strap clasp, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1500). The probable strap clasp frame is sub rectangular in plan, with a recessed back, and thin side walls. The front of the clasp is triangular in shape (pointed), with incised decoration. Part of a cast lead alloy, toy gun of late Post-Medieval or Modern date, probably AD 1850 - 1900. Only the stock survives; the rest has broken away and is missing. The stock is hollow cast, becoming solid at the break, where the trigger guard would have been. The lower portion of the stock has scrolled floral designs on either side while the upper stock, which protrudes from a mouth-like moulding, is decorated with cross hatching. The ball has been fired and has struck a solid object as it is now a in the shape of a flattened disc with a slightly thicker centre. It is characteristic of balls that have struck a hard flat rough surface at high velocity and can be compared to examples in Harding (2012, Lead Short of the English Civil war: a Radical Study, plate 25). The brooch has a tapered bow and foot-knob with short rounded wings with coiled spring secured by a forward facing hook on the top of the head, in the Colchester B style. Copper alloy double oval buckle frame with missing pin and narrowed triangular-section strap bar. The outside edge of each loop is scalloped forming seven foils defined by deep transverse grooves, with slightly shallower transverse grooves between. There is a very slight trace of possible gilding on the upper surface. The reverse face of the buckle is plain and flat and the frame is now slightly angled. Whitehead dates buckles of this type to circa 1450-1600 AD.

Lead cloth seal. Pair of cast discs linked by sprue and clamped together. One side bears the motif of a bishop's mitre within a tressure with trefoils or lis on its cusps. The other side bears a W (or possibly M) with an annulet on either side within a pelleted circle. Patinated overall. The mitre was among the badges associated with the German city of Augsburg, noted for its fustian cloths. An early post-medieval date is suggested by the letter style. Copper alloy with enamel mount. Cast symmetrical mount comprising a central hexagonal plate flanked by opposed elongated collared lugs, each with a drilled attachment hole of diameter 3mm. The plate bears the device of three cinquefoil florets springing from a small tapered receptacle against a parti-coloured enamel ground, mid blue to the right and [now] green to the left. The object is now gently curved. The decorative use of enamel was especially characteristic of 13th-century Limoges work, while the three flowers could allude to the Holy Trinity.
