A medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the 14th century. The object is formed of a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded widthways. It would have been connected to the strap by two rivets, which are no longer present. The rivet holes have been drilled from one side and are located along the open edge on both sides of the object. One side of the strap end appears to taper from the bend to the opposing edge. The object has some damage and has developed a light-mid green patina.
