An incomplete copper alloy probable great square headed brooch fragment, of Early Medieval dating (c. AD 450 to c. AD 600). Less than 25% of the brooch is present, consisting only of part of the bow and a small amount of the head plate. The rest of the brooch is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative, 'T-shaped' brooch, dating to the early Roman period. The brooch has a tapered bow and foot-knob with short rounded wings with coiled spring secured by a forward facing hook on the top of the head, in the Colchester B style. Copper alloy with blue and white enamel brooch fragment. Cast dragonesque brooch with a body of reverse S form, Mackreth type DRAG 3.ax. The head has an expanded nostril and has perhaps lost something from its top. The body bears a series of five enamelled panels: the ends were pointed and the central panels rectangular, with enamel alternating from one end as dark blue, off-white, lost, off white and dark blue. Copper alloy brooch fragment. Hinged Aesica brooch, Mackreth type AES 4.a. Tubular wings clenched behind retaining an axis bar and a cast pin. The wings are met by a broad upper bow with central ridge whose top or crest is lost, flanked by wide flutes with outer ridges, and with knops at its corners. The lower bow is lost. Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-150. Length: 23mm, Width: 26.2mm, Thickness (crest of bow): 5.1mm, Weight: 6.16gms.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval annular brooch, dating to between c. 13th-14th centuries AD. The brooch is annular and flat, with a small narrowed notch in the frame, which would have accommodated the pin, now missing. The outer face of the frame is decorated with simple incised lines radiating from the centre hole. It measures 17.43 mm in diameter, 1.41 mm thick and weighs 0.97 grams. The brooch is of an even brown-green patina.

Cast copper-alloy annular brooch dating from the medieval period, that is the 13th/14th century. The brooch is complete with circular frame and pin. The pin is sitting in a small recess and cannot move around the frame freely. The pin rest on the opposite site looks worn. The brooch is decorated with simple diagonal and horizontal grooves on the obverse; the reverse is plain.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Colchester derivative Polden Hill brooch (flat wing ends type, Midlands) dating from the late first through to second century AD. The brooch has a thick rounded head with short stubby wings that has a linear moulding around each terminal. At the reverse junction of the head and the wings is a hook that would have helped tension the axis bar for the spring mechanism.
