A copper alloy Roman coin: a nummus of Constantine I, dating from AD 324 - 330 (Reece period 16), PROVIDENTIAE AVGG reverse type, depicting a camp gate with two turrets and a star above. The mint is Trier. Probably LRBC number 38. The coin is 18.5mm in diameter and 1.22 mm thick. It weighs 2.12gm.

A copper alloy finger ring, probably of Post-Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1800. It is a simple, broad hoop of thin rectangular section, without bezel. It is decorated with a stamped pattern of opposing equilateral triangles; each triangle containing a stylised fleur-de-lis. It has been made by bending a strip of metal and soldering the ends to form a ring. The butted join is clearly visible and the decoration is not aligned. A circular, cast lead alloy button, probably of Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1500. It is decorated with a plain cross, cast in high relief, within a narrow wire line border. There is a pellet in the centre of the cross and at the end of each arm; there is also a single pellet in each angle of the cross. The rim of the button is bevelled and decorated with narrow, angled cross hatching running from the inner circle to the edge. Part of a cast lead alloy, toy gun of late Post-Medieval or Modern date, probably AD 1850 - 1900. Only the stock survives; the rest has broken away and is missing. The stock is hollow cast, becoming solid at the break, where the trigger guard would have been. The lower portion of the stock has scrolled floral designs on either side while the upper stock, which protrudes from a mouth-like moulding, is decorated with cross hatching. A lead alloy impacted probable pistol ball of post-Medieval date, AD 1600 - 1850. The ball has been fired and has struck a solid object as it is now a in the shape of a flattened disc with a slightly thicker centre. It is characteristic of balls that have struck a hard flat rough surface at high velocity and can be compared to examples in Harding (2012, Lead Short of the English Civil war: a Radical Study, plate 25). A cast copper alloy, single loop buckle with an integral plate, dating from about AD 1250 - 1400. It has an oval frame with a broad outer edge and a pointed knop at each end of the strap bar. The plate is narrow, tapering to a point, and is decorated with two transverse ridges flanking a bulbous area. There is a single rivet hole containing the remains of a copper alloy rivet, and a circular perforation for the pin below the strap bar. The pin is missing. An Early Medieval gilded silver disc brooch with surviving silver wire loop and Terslev-style design, dating from about 900-975 AD. A fragment of a glass bracelet or bangle of Roman date, probably 1st century. It is of angular D shaped (or triangular) section and is a translucent light blue colour. It is decorated with two hook shaped designs in opaque yellow glass, probably trailed into the blue glass and then smoothed. The shaft of each hook runs along the apex of the D and then the hook bends down the side of the bracelet, becoming broader.
