An incomplete copper alloy artefact of uncertain identification and function, possibly a sword pommel of Early Medieval to Medieval dating (AD 700 to AD 1500). The artefact is sub cuboid in shape. A circular perforation (hole) is present in the base, with an internal diameter of 8.3 mm. A sub circular flat border is present around this perforation. Possible arms extend to either side. A complete gilt copper alloy plaque or inlay, of Early Medieval dating (AD 750 to AD 1200). The plaque is rectangular in shape, with moulded decoration (?Style 1) on the front. The reverse is plain and undecorated. The decoration on the front bears similarity to that of the Tiermensch or 'beastman' motif. The decoration consists of several motifs, each appears to be multistranded. Gilding survives in the recesses. It measures 26.6 mm in length, 13.0 mm wide and 1.9 mm thick. It weighs 2.8 g. A fragment comprising a single support from a cast copper alloy chafing dish of 15th-16th century date and a small part of the dish rim. The support is rectangular in plan with straight sides. A post-medieval copper-alloy mount with single integral rivet. The mount is pointed oval in shape. The front is slightly convex and has moulded beading along the edge. Post Medieval copper alloy double-looped oval buckle with an iron pin and separate strap-plate. The loops form one continuous oval outer frame and the outer sides of the loops are slightly widened. Copper alloy double oval buckle frame with missing pin and narrowed triangular-section strap bar. The outside edge of each loop is scalloped forming seven foils defined by deep transverse grooves, with slightly shallower transverse grooves between. There is a very slight trace of possible gilding on the upper surface. The reverse face of the buckle is plain and flat and the frame is now slightly angled. Whitehead dates buckles of this type to circa 1450-1600 AD.

A copper alloy (probably spelter) medal struck to commemorate the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887. It was originally circular, though now heavily damaged around the circumference. A complete and worn Medieval cast copper-alloy circular uniface coin weight for a quarter noble (1412-1464). Withers & Withers 1995: 34 and 68. This coin weight is rectangular in cross-section. At the front there is a stamped lis with a crown above (crown is off-set). The rear face is flat and has fine linear striations. Cast copper-alloy button-and-loop-fastener dating from the early Roman period, that is c. AD50-150. The button and loop fastener is of the teardrop- or petal-headed type, which is Wild's Class III. Is survives complete but with a very corroded surface and iron corrosion inside the triangular fastening loop. The head is teardrop- or petal-shaped with a raised circular moulding in the centre. The shank is triangular in shape with a circular cross section. Petal- or teardrop-shaped button and loop fasteners were typically not enamelled.

The upper edge has V-shaps cut out of it as decoration and is mis-shaped due to post depositional damage. The longitudinal seam is no longer held together by sodler.
