Copper alloy coin, probably a sestertius of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar (AD 139-61), dating to AD 148-9 (Reece Period 7), [TR POT III COS II], (VIRTVS in exergue), S C, Roma seated left holding parazonium and vertical spear. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 179, cf. no. 1283. The coin is of 29mm in diameter but only weighs 13.96g, so it is possible this is a large dupondius (see RIC III, p. 180, cf. no. 1295).

An incomplete cast copper-alloy hooked tag of Post-Medieval date. It has a circular plate, missing its suspension loop at the top of the plate due to old breaks. The front face has moulded decoration comprising a central cross surrounded by two concentric bands of rectangular or square shaped motifs. On the back face of the plate is an integrally cast cylinder that would have originally held in place the separately cast, and now missing, hook. An early Medieval (11th century) copper alloy strap end: The strap end has an animal head terminal which is visible in profile with an elongated point oval on either side as the eyes, and an open mouth. The body of the strap end is narrowed behind the head and is a elongated trapezoid in plan. Only a short portion of the body is split in profile to allow for the strap to be fitted. The terminals of each plate have a single rivet hole. The surface is heavily abraded and has a red copper corrosion with traces of a dark green patina. A post medieval copper alloy thimble dating to the 16th century. The thimble has straight sides with a separate dome at the peak. There are undecorated bands at the base and at just before the dome with a pattern of circular shaped pits spiralling from the lower band to the upper band. The circular pits also cover the dome. There is no evidence of a maker's mark and there is some dark grey discolouration across sections of the thimble. No exact parallels can be found for this object. A medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the 14th century. The object is formed of a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded widthways. It would have been connected to the strap by two rivets, which are no longer present. The rivet holes have been drilled from one side and are located along the open edge on both sides of the object. Copper alloy double oval buckle frame with missing pin and narrowed triangular-section strap bar. The outside edge of each loop is scalloped forming seven foils defined by deep transverse grooves, with slightly shallower transverse grooves between. There is a very slight trace of possible gilding on the upper surface. The reverse face of the buckle is plain and flat and the frame is now slightly angled. Whitehead dates buckles of this type to circa 1450-1600 AD.
