A cylindrical chape made up of stamped copper alloy sheet, dating to the 15th-17th century. The base is a circular disc fitted into the base, 7mm in diameter. The upper edge has V-shaps cut out of it as decoration and is mis-shaped due to post depositional damage. The longitudinal seam is no longer held together by sodler. The decoration is floral with a central row of raised pellets flanked by solid lines, and a similar sequence of pellets and solid lines at the top edge, leaving a blank area of 13mm before the edge.
