Copper alloy Brooch fragment. Hinged Aesica Brooch, Mackreth type AES 4.a. Tubular wings clenched behind retaining an axis bar and a cast pin. The wings are met by a broad upper bow with central ridge whose top or crest is lost, flanked by wide flutes with outer ridges, and with knops at its corners. The lower bow is lost. Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-150. Length: 23mm, Width: 26.2mm, Thickness (crest of bow): 5.1mm, Weight: 6.16gms.

Copper alloy with blue and white enamel Brooch fragment. Cast Dragonesque Brooch with a body of reverse S form, Mackreth type DRAG 3.ax. The head has an expanded nostril and has perhaps lost something from its top. The body bears a series of five enamelled panels: the ends were pointed and the central panels rectangular, with enamel alternating from one end as dark blue, off-white, lost, off white and dark blue.
