Copper alloy spur fragment. Cast figure of eight terminal to a small D section spur side. A pair of loops of length 23mm for the attachment of spur leathers are retained in the terminal; each comprises a rhomboid plate with traces of a rivet of diameter 2.7mm, a projecting pair of stops, and the looped part, which is closed by being bent back on itself. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1700.
