Copper alloy vessel fragment. Concavo-convex naturalistically modelled paw of a lion, with a circular lug with drilled hole of diameter 3mm for attachment to a small bowl, serving as one of its feet. The light construction of the piece, with detail retained as a negative impression on the hollow back, suggests this may be from a decorative item of tableware in Neo-Classical style. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1850. Length: 22.2mm, Width: 15.9mm, Thickness: 1.5mm, Weight: 3.13gms

An incomplete copper-alloy right-angled drop handle from a vessel, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1270 - c. AD 1350). Approximately 75% of the handle is present, consisting of one of the animal head terminals, and a vertical and horizontal shaft. The other animal head terminal and a vertical shaft are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The horizontal and vertical shafts are rectangular in cross-section (7.5 x 6.2mm). A rim sherd from a Cast copper-alloy cooking vessel of Medieval date. A rectangular fragment from the wall of the vessel preserving part of the out-turned rim survives, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. It has a dark green patina with bleckened exterior surface indicative of exposure to high temperatures or fire. The fragment measures 47.92mm in length, 46.52mm in width, 3.22mm in thickness and 37.76g in weight. This is a rim sherd from a cooking vessel of Medieval date, c.14th-15th centuries AD.

Rim fragment from a late Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper alloy vessel. The thick everted rim is dished with a concave upper side and convex curved lower face. The broad flat top edge is thickened by a triangular sectioned swelling on the inner face. The lower point is just starting to bend back out before the break at the constricted neck where the rim met the body of the vessel. A post medieval copper alloy trade token of Edward Swallow from Deptford dated AD 1668. The obverse depicts a talbot passant with the inscription EDWARD SWALLOW. The initials E.A.S are on the reverse with the date 1667 below. The inscription reads IN LOER DEPTFORD. There is a mullet initial mark on both sides. A post medieval copper alloy thimble dating to the 16th century. The thimble has straight sides with a separate dome at the peak. There are undecorated bands at the base and at just before the dome with a pattern of circular shaped pits spiralling from the lower band to the upper band. The circular pits also cover the dome. There is no evidence of a maker's mark and there is some dark grey discolouration across sections of the thimble. No exact parallels can be found for this object. A medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the 14th century. The object is formed of a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded widthways. It would have been connected to the strap by two rivets, which are no longer present. The rivet holes have been drilled from one side and are located along the open edge on both sides of the object. One side of the strap end appears to taper from the bend to the opposing edge. The object has some damage and has developed a light-mid green patina. A pair of loops of length 23mm for the attachment of spur leathers are retained in the terminal; each comprises a rhomboid plate with traces of a rivet of diameter 2.7mm, a projecting pair of stops, and the looped part, which is closed by being bent back on itself.
